Sydney’s beloved Annandale Hotel will re-open under its new owners in August, with a focus on food and drink.

The former legendary music venue will still “pay homage to its grass roots”, said owners Oscars Hotels in a statement. It will include a stage suited to local and international singer-songwriters.

The focus, however, is on the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and drinks. The courtyard and bistro have been included in the refurbishments.

The Annandale Hotel will officially return on Wednesday August 6.
