Apple have confirmed that the next generation of iPhones (the iPhone XS, XS MAX and XR) will no longer come packaged with a Lightning-to-3.5mm dongle.

The iPhone 8 model which previously came packaged with a dongle, will no longer include the adapter with purchase.

The adaptor will now be sold separately, which Apple are currently flogging for $15.
