The Sydney Opera House has revealed a program of three premiere events, being held as part of a new weekend celebrating indigenous culture, stories and music.

A conversation with iconic songwriter Archie Roach, followed by a Jimmy Little tribute concert featuring members of Gang Gajang, The Angels, The Medics and The Flood, forms the Dubowgale Beats event on Saturday August 8.

Meanwhile, an all-female musical cast will tell the stories of women during wartime in The Soldier’s Wife, and a film screening of Richard Frankland’s Harry’s War will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker.

The Soldier’s Wife, Dubowgale Beats and Harry’s War feature at The Studio, Sydney Opera House from Friday August 7 – Sunday August 9.
