Representing motion is a challenge for any artist. Following the lines created by the bodies of dancers, Todd Fuller has captured the physicality of dance in a series of artworks that simultaneously document and construct its unraveling sequences.

As part of the Sydney-based collective Flatline, Fuller works with choreographer Carl Sciberras to focuson the structural crossovers of art and dance in The Line We Walk: Studies In Motion. These captured, constructed and choreographed moments are compiled to form a multifaceted exhibition that ultimately examines the marks we make and the traces we leave behind.

The Line We Walk: Studies In Motionwill be showing at Brenda May Gallery from Tuesday September 9 to Saturday October 4. A special performance by Flatline will take placeWednesday September 10, 5:30-7:30pm.
