Italian artistMatteo Bernasconi has announced his first major solo exhibition, opening this month.

Exploring the human condition, Flesh In Lightfocuses on the dualism Bernasconifinds in human nature, asserting through his art that humans are never truly free.

Around 30 pieces will be exhibited featuring forms and figures in watercolours and acrylics on several mediums such as wood, canvas and cotton.

After seven years of living and working in Europe,Bernasconihas established himself as a prominent artist in Sydney.
