Aussie OnlyFans model Mikaela Testa has been banned from making explicit content while in the UAE, as per the country’s laws.
Since splitting from her ex Atis Paul in June, Mikaela Testa has been Eat Pray Love-ing it up across the world by travelling solo. When she finally came to the UAE, she was in for a surprise. Turns out, the country’s obscenity laws ban her from making explicit content while she is in the UAE.
Testa confirmed the same to her fans during a Q&A on her Instagram this week. “Isn’t it illegal to film OnlyFans content in the country you’re in?” a fan asked her. Testa replied in the affirmative and added that she would only be posting content from her trip to Ibiza while in the UAE.
“Yes, it is,” Testa replied to the fan. “Which is why I am posting all of the Ibiza stuff.”
When another fan asked her whether she felt unsafe visiting Islamic countries on her own, Testa was quick to shut them down.
“There’s nothing to be scared of. They’re beautiful countries excluding everything going on in Iran and Syria right now.” she replied.
Testa recently found herself in hot water during her visit to Los Angeles. In the video documenting her visit to Cecil Hotel – the most haunted building in the city – Testa burst into tears due to the hotel’s location. The infamous hotel is part of Skid Row, an area equally infamous for massive issues with poverty and homelessness.
In her video, Testa claimed that driving through the area was ‘heartbreaking,’ but then immediately asked her fans which country’s money they thought was prettier while holding up an Australian dollar and an American dollar.
Needless to say, fans called her out on her insensitive content. Many pointed out the irony of driving through Skid Row in a Tesla – which Testa had rented for the trip – and the cruelty of depicting homelessness before asking people to compare the aesthetic value of money.
