Incase living in Australia these past few months hasn’t been a haywire enough experience for you, the Bureau of Meteorology has gone and added a little more chaos to the mix. We’re about to experience a record cold snap. Kicking off tonight, the next few days will see “the strongest cold front of the year” make its way across the country.
We hope you’ve dropped major cashola on some luscious new linen because we’re in for a brisk one. The Bureau has predicted temperatures 8C and 14C below average in the country’s south-east, and Melbourne and Canberra could break their records for coldest day in April. It has been predicted that Canberra could experience a deliciously chilly maximum of 7C on Friday, which is set to break the city’s record for the earliest day below 10C.
I personally can not wait to dig out the ugg boots, a hoodie of the AS Colour variety, whip up a delicious mulled wine brew, and perhaps indulge in a screening of a film from the Bridget Jones franchise.
