As the next season of The Bachelor Australia is delayed, one of its contestants, Jed McIntosh, is deciding to move to the states.
The Bachelor Australia star, Jed McIntosh, has now decided to move to the US to pursue his musical career just a week after it was announced that the season has been delayed until 2023.
This season of The Bachelor was planned to have three people in the role of the bachelor this year but many of them appear to be heading in different directions following the season’s delay.
Jed, who is 25, has reportedly secured a deal with the international record label ACTS and is planning on moving to LA in April of 2023. This will surely make it difficult for him to continue on The Bachelor when the time comes around, if he decides to continue at all.
According to The Herald Sun, McIntosh, who is from Melbourne, will be launching the label’s one rock/alternative division and is slated to take on the position of head of global A&R.
“With the rise in music from genres in the punk, punk pop, rock and alt scene, ACTS have focused heavily on uplifting artists that are not typically mainstream,” he told the outlet.
“I am excited to help grow the confidence of up-and-coming artists that don’t fit into the mainstream music scene.”

With Jed’s eventual departure to LA and Thomas Malucelli’s presence being noted on dating apps, the prospect of the coming season of The Bachelor seems to be a shakey one at best.
“Ten have made the call to delay the show until early 2023, so they can focus on promoting The Real Love Boat,” revealed a well-placed source.
“I don’t see them airing reality dating shows back-to-back, and there are only ten ratings weeks left… They would rather hold it and give it the publicity it needs.”
