A very famous musician may have accidentally let it slip that former Bachelor Nick Cummins – best known for picking no one – has married his girlfriend, Alexandra George.

During a performance at Byron Bay’s Bluesfest over the weekend, Pete Murray gave a shoutout to Cummins, as per So Dramatic!

“I’m dedicating this song to my ‘good friend Nick Cummins and his wife Alexandra who are expecting a baby,” he said during the set.

While the news that Cummins and George are expecting a baby has been confirmed, the “wife” comment comes as a bit of a curveball. Murray’s comment is the first suggestion that the couple is married, and suggests that they may have held a secret wedding.

Cummins and George shared their exciting baby news in Instagam posts on Easter Sunday.

“My darling and I look forward lovingly to the arrival of our little badger cub,” the reality star and rugby player captioned a sweet photo of the couple.

Alexandra posted the same photo, and added a picture of their ultrasound. “We decided to create a little hybrid!! Can’t wait to share this next chapter with the love of my life 😍 welcoming our little badger cub into this world shortly,” she captioned the photos.

Cummins was a well-known rugby player before appearing on The Bachelor, but really shot to fame when he started giving out roses on the show. While he was well-received throughout the season for his jovial and relaxed attitude, he drew a lot of criticism for dumping the two finalists, Sophie Tieman and Brittany Hockley, in the final rose ceremony.

Hockley was particularly heartbroken over Cummins’s choice, speaking publicly about the devastation she felt.

“I was definitely upset, very upset. I did think that he and I obviously had something more than he thought we had, and that was really hard to accept,” she told news.com.au at the time.
