The Bachelor star Gemma White’s boyfriend Andrew Fraser-Scott has been exposed for selling faulty cars for inflated prices.

The Bachelor star Gemma White’s boyfriend, Andrew Fraser-Scott has been exposed for selling faulty cars and posing as a automobile dealer without a licence in 2019.

According to So Dramatic!, Fraser-Scott allegedly sold people ‘lemons’ – faulty vehicles – at inflated prices. He then kept the differences for himself.

Merill Walters, an alleged victim of the scam, told A Current Affair, that she ended up buying a faulty camper van for $12,000 after a broker recommended her to Cartel Dealers. “I rang and said what I was looking for, and they said yes, they could definitely help, that they go to auctions and check vehicles out and buy exactly what I wanted,” she said.

When she took her supposedly new van to the mechanic, however, she was told that a van needed almost $15,000 worth of repairs and had a faulty engine. “There isn’t one panel which isn’t damaged. I felt pretty stupid but then I thought how clever they were. It was so orchestrated.” she said.

Fraser-Scott was hit with a total of 77 charges, which included acting as a dealer without a licence and misleading consumers regarding prices. He pled guilty to the charges and was fined $30,000.
