Backstreet Boys are bringing their mammoth DNA World Tour to Australia in May. They’ll be playing half a dozen arena shows around the country, including two a piece in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Floridian boy band (…man band?) have just announced they’re auctioning VIP meet and greets for the May 23 show at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and May 27 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. All funds raised from the auction will go to Wildlife Victoria’s Victorian bushfire appeal.

The world’s most commercially successful boy band.

So what’s included in the “exclusive VIP Experience”? Well, it gives you and three friends a chance to meet BSB‘s AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson, as well as four A-Reserve tickets to see the show.

Plus you’ll walk away with a professional group photograph with Backstreet Boys, a personalised selfie video from the band, a tour merchandise package and a private transfer to the show.

Bidding is open now and will end at 10am, Thursday January 23. Tour promoters Live Nation have offered more details on where the money will end up:

“Donations to this Victorian bushfire appeal will be distributed to wildlife shelters and carers to help rebuild enclosures and equipment that they have lost in the fires so that they can continue their lifesaving work, and support those that are struggling to cope with the enormous number of animals that will need care in the coming weeks and months.”

If this sounds like the right kind of guilt-free extravagance for you, get bidding right away.
