The bands have evidently not broken up, giving they’re releasing a charity album, but we won’t hold that factual inaccuracy against them.
Missed out on The Bands Are Breaking Up, the singer-songwriter mini-festival that took place way back in January? Do not despair: DIY label Sad Grrrls Club is putting out a live album with highlights from the event, so you can pop on the CD, pump up the volume, and imagine that you were there.
The compilation features songs from the likes of Rachel Maria Cox, Spencer Scott and Lincoln LeFevre, so quality is practically assured. Better still, the album can be purchased on a pay-what-you-like basis, and all profits will be going to The Butterfly Foundation to help Australians with eating disorders. What more could one possibly want?
The Bands Are Breaking Upwill be released on Monday February 29. More information is available on the Sad Grrrls Club Facebook page.
