One of this countries finest comedians, Becky Lucas, is set to embark on a 2020 Australian tour. The comedian will be bringing her brand new show, My Neck, My Back, to audiences all over the country.
The tour will kick off at Adelaide Fringe on Tuesday, February 25th through to Saturday, February 29th before heading to Brisbane Comedy Festival on Tuesday, March 10th through to Sunday, March 15th, Melbourne International Comedy Festival on Thursday, March 26th through to Sunday, April 19th, Perth Comedy Festival from Friday, April 24th through to Saturday, April 25th and finally, Sydney Comedy Festival from Wednesday, May 13th through to Sunday, May 17th.
“Urgh it truly is hard being a woman in comedy I thought, sucking the Cheetos dust off my ring finger and thumb,” shares Lucas. “Anyway, I wrote most of these jokes in my head whilst sitting at the pub being lectured to about data mining by a guy with stick ‘n’ poke tattoos and bad breath. I think it’s a good show, but please don’t come if your favourite comedian is Stephen Fry or if you quote-tweet things with ‘let this sink in’. I’m a stupid bitch and I’ve never pretended to be otherwise.”
