The Bellamy Brothers have announced they will be heading to Australia this October, to celebrate their upcoming 40-year anniversary.
Howard and David, the guys you can blame for country music’s “best” pick up line “if I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?”, will be playing seven shows in Australia as part of their global tour.
Apart from penning pick up lines, the Bellamy Brothers have seen a lot of success throughout their career. Racking up 20 #1 singles in the US, recorded duets with the likes of Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, hold the record in both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association for the most duo nominations, and had their song ‘Old Hippy’ listed in Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Country Songs of All Time.
