Last night, Reggie won this year’s season of Big Brother and cemented herself in history as the first housemate in the world to ever win BB twice.

Now, the mum of two has shared the first thing she’ll do with her $250,000 winnings.

“Lucas has always wanted to try a Wagyu beef steak, so I reckon I’m gonna shout him a Wagyu beef steak. They want to go to a nice restaurant, so that’s what I’m gonna do,” Reggie told PerthNow.

When asked about her long-term plan for the money, the fan favourite revisited comments she’s previously made about buying a house for her and her family.

“I don’t even know if we’ll be able to buy a house, it’s (the market) so crazy on the Gold Coast,” she told the publication. Reggie previously shared that the two-bedroom apartment that she currently rents with her kids has recently been sold, so she would use the prize money to find their family new accommodation.

“Winning would help me and the kids so much. I would try and use it as a deposit to get us a place to live,” she told The Daily Telegraph yesterday.

Despite Reggie’s huge fan base, and her unbelievable betting odds to win, the 48-year-old said that she didn’t think she was going to win Big Brother 2022.

“I honestly didn’t think that I had this in the bag again, I thought it was going to be one of the boys taking it out and I was absolutely stunned when Sonia called my name out,” she told PerthNow.

“It just goes to show the love and support of the Australian public for me. It’s just unbelievable.”

Reggie’s struggles have been well documented – she’s been declared legally blind as a result of a rare condition called retinitis pigmentosa and her eight-year-old son was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.
