Bill Murray and Wes Anderson will once again join forces for the director’s next movie, set to begin production in Spain in August.
As confirmed by Variety, sources close to the project have confirmed, Bill Murray will once again reunite with Wes Anderson. The actor has appeared in nine of Wes Anderson’s films to date, including Rushmore, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Darjeeling Limited, Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Isle of Dogs.
Details about the as-yet-untitled project have been kept under wraps. The film will also star Tilda Swinton, who, in an interview with Variety last month, noted that although the film is shooting in Spain, “it’s not about Spain.”
Wes Anderson’s latest film, The French Dispatch, premiered at Cannes Film Festival on July 12th. The film, dubbed a love letter to journalists, stars Murray, Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, Tilda Swinton, Elisabeth Moss, Benicio del Toro, Frances McDormand, Jeffrey Wright and more. The antological flick tells several stories set in 19th century France.
If all goes to plan, the film is due to release in cinemas for the general public this year on October 22nd. To make sure you stay up to date with any and all Wes Anderson related news, make sure to follow the Film & TV Observer. Check out the trailer below.
