Following the announcement of the first group of artists and cultural leaders in the Boomerang program that will feature at Bluesfest next year, Bluesfest have announced yet another crop of artists for their lineup.

The festival have added another ten acts to their bill,bringing the total 2016 artists announced so far to 62,more artist surprises still up their sleeve.

Leading the latest new announcement areThe “Original” Blues Brothers Band. They will have the honours of closing Bluesfest 2016 on one of the main stages.

Also on the new lineup are Don McLean, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Jeff Martin, The Mastersons, Russel Morris, Archie Roach, Tex Perkins & The Ape, Hussy Hicks and East Journey.

They join a line up already chock full of artists including Kendrick Lamar, The National, Brian Wilson, Tom Jones, Joe Bonamassa and Tedeschi Trucks Band.

Byron Bay Bluesfest will take place at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm from Thursday March 24 until Monday March 28.Tickets are on sale now.
