Bob’s Burgers just scored its second Emmy, yet the clever cartoon remains relatively underground, one of those breathless “have-you-seen-it” shows.

That’s all (hopefully) set to change with the news that Fox Animation are producing a feature film around the Belcher family and their fledgling burger joint.

The film won’t be out until July 17, 2020, ‘cos they have to draw the thing, and colour it, then there is the script and the voices and.. oh, it’s already sounding like a lot of work.

“We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show,” series creator Loren Bouchard said in a statement.

“We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever-so-slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s — but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?”

Here’s a compilation of funny bits, so you can explain to your annoyed boss what you’re laughing raucously at. “Haveyouseenthis?!
