MAFS star Tayla has been branded as “cold” and “heartless” for her actions toward her husband Hugo. However, what viewers don’t know is that an emotional scene was cut from the edit that showed her getting vulnerable with her castmates.

Daily Mail Australia has reported that Tayla shared a deeply personal three-page letter with her fellow grooms and brides that had some of her castmates in tears, but the scene was cut out of the episode.

“Tayla barely got through the letter, she was crying her eyes out,” a source told the publication

“She didn’t tell anyone about it. She just pulled the letter from underneath her dress and began reading it out.

“It was a deeply personal letter, and it explained why she would always keep her guard up.

“Tayla was very raw and vulnerable … it was a side that none of the cast had seen from her.

“It was tough for everyone. The cast were in tears and ran over to comfort her.”

They added, “The letter changed the way how the cast treated and looked at her … she had new-found respect when she returned to the show for the reunion.”
Tayla recently spoke about how she believes that contestants who didn’t cooperate with producers when they were encouraged to create drama received bad edits on the show.

“So many things that happened during filming, there are people that will get on in front of the camera and make a lot of drama, are happy to start rumors and make people feel really bad,” she said on the Kyle and Jackie O show.

“Then there are the other people that kind of push back against the producers [and] pressure about starting drama and making people feel really uncomfortable. And unfortunately, the ones that are getting the golden edit did do that [make drama]. And the ones [who don’t do what producers want] are getting really rotten, butchered edits.”
