Signing up for a reality TV for the “wrong reasons” is a common theme in shows like MAFS and The Bachelor. After all, a show with high viewership numbers usually translates into high Instagram numbers for the stars, especially for the stand out characters.

However, one of this season’s most well-received contestants, Brent Vitiello believes that there were two participants in particular who entered the show with the intention of growing their online profiles.

“Daniel, Carolina that’s it they are the worst. They are the worst of the worst,” Brent replied when asked which contestants were there for the wrong reason during a chat on The Handbags podcast.

Brent added, “They were the worst case of doing everything in their power to get air time so that they can be little influencers and gain more from this whole experience.”

Brent chatted continued to chat with MAFS’s Michael Brunelli and Love Island’s Josh Moss and the trio touched on set up pap shots.

“You know if you’ve ever seen a seen a photo of the Daily Mail and the photos are all perfect and the angles are perfect and they somehow manage to get a metre away from them and everyone’s like smiling, that is when you know they’ve set it up,” Brunelli said.

Brent told the hosts that he’d seen Daniel and Carolina arrange their own paparazzi photos.

“There were some pap shots of them two at the outdoor gym in Bondi. Who kisses their girlfriend fourteen times during a workout. I’m sorry but I’ll give you one before and after maybe but I ain’t doing it during the workout, I’m down in it.”

Carolina and Daniel were both matched with separate partners when they joined the experiment. After Daniel and his on-screen wife Jess ended their relationship, Daniel and Carolina began hanging out romantically. Carolina was shown kissing Daniel on a number of occasions while she was still with her on-screen husband Dion.
