Meme maestros Brown Cardigan have had their Instagram account deactivated after a slew of their posts were reported for “bullying and harassment.”

The news was confirmed on a backup account @browncardigan69. “@browncardigan has been zucked. Follow here til we figure it all out. Regards, Dickheads Incorporated®️,” the accounts bio reads.

The people behind the account were reportedly told that at least five of their videos had ‘violated community standards’.

“Few people have noticed they can’t search or find brown cardigan which means Zuckerturd has most likely throttled our visibility and shadowbanned us,” they revealed in an Instagram post. “Such a boring cunt. Follow this account just in case.”

It’s a real pity that an account so deeply entrenched in the DNA of Australian meme culture has been deleted. We hope that this is only a temporary occurrence and peace will soon be restored.

“Just quietly, I can feel a very large revolt against Instagram if we don’t get it back,’ Brown Cardigan shared in a Facebook post.
