MAFS star Carolina Schmidt has leaked some damning recorded conversations between herself and producers of the reality show, in an attempt to show how much the cast was controlled about what they were allowed to say and do on camera.

Carolina posted the conversations to her Instagram story, and in one of the videos, she can be heard asking a producer when she can come clean about her new romance with co-star Daniel.

Fans of the show will remember that Carolina and Daniel began to hook up after Daniel’s partner Jessica left the show. Carolina was still partnered with Dion at the time, and he didn’t find out about the tryst until the show’s “commitment ceremony” episode – well and truly after the new couple had become romantically involved.

“I would also like to not blindside Dion completely. I would like to invite him over or go over to his place and just say, ‘look I’m really sorry but I know from the get-go that you weren’t really for me and this kind of happened and I see a chance of finding love and that’s why I came here for it so I’m going to go for it,'” she told a producer in the recording.

Carolina continued, “So I would like to tell him one on one. I would actually love it if that happened today. The more honest way.”

The producer said that he agreed with Carolina. “Yeah. Oh, I could see that. I see that definitely see your point, but it’s not up to me.”

“So who is it up to then?” She asked in response. “Are they going to make a decision because I’ve literally been bringing this up for over a week now? I wanted to do that last week as well. How long are we going to drag this along for?”

The producer can then be heard telling the mum of one that she isn’t “allowed” to take about her new romance. “So you know you’re not obviously allowed to say anything?” He says.
