Aussie comedian Celeste Barber is coming back to her home country for two exciting encore shows at the end of this year.
Celeste will hold two special filmed performances – one at 6pm and one at 9pm – at the iconic Sydney Opera House on November 14th. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, September 7th at 11am local time.
For the comedian, it’s the ideal way to cap off an excellent 2022 which has saw her impress audiences across the globe. ”This has been such a massive year for me and I can’t think of a better way to wrap up my world tour than shooting a special at the Sydney Opera House. This moment isn’t lost on me,” she says.
Titled ‘Fine, Thanks’, her show explores everything – and we mean everything. Celebrity sex toys; why hot girls just can’t dance; the highs and lows of being invited to Coachella just as it’s cancelled.
A truly modern comedian, Celeste has utilised the power of social media to build her comedy empire, doing everything from hilariously recreating viral celebrity clips to lovingly parodying the likes of Rihanna and the Kardashians.
With almost 10 million followers on Instagram and over 3 million followers on Facebook, Celeste has built up a loyal following – expect tickets for her Sydney Opera House performances to sell fast.
