It’s a wrap! Chris Hemsworth has announced that Thor: Love And Thunder is signed, sealed and delivered.
Hemsworth took to Instagram to share the wonderful news. He wrote, That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder, it’s also national don’t flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate. The film is gonna be batshit crazy off the wall funny and might also pull a heart string or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready and see ya in cinemas!! @taikawaititi @marvelstudios 📷 @jasinboland”
This upcoming Thor instalment is set to be one for the books – shout out to the legend that is Taika Waititi. And now that the news has broken that the project is complete, it’s time to wait patiently for the moment that we’ll all be able to enjoy it. Hopefully with popcorn at the movies.
Hemsworth also took to Instagram recently to share that he is against the shocking developments which are set to sweep across Byron Bay’s Seven Mile Beach.
As stated by Friends of Seven Mile Beach, the area is one of the last remaining wild stretches of undeveloped coastline in the region. Described as “a place where precious littoral rainforest meets the sea, it is a whale migration path and is home to many vulnerable, rare, threatened and critically threatened species – at least 49 species recorded from within 5km of the site.”
Hemsworth said, “I stand shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with Aunty Lois cook in opposition to the tourist development of Seven Mile Beach. I fully support traditional custodians, to be able to comfortably tell their people’s stories to preserve and protect their homelands, and this proposed development would have a direct impact on these sacred and significant Indigenous sites.”
