Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn is leaving the popular Netflix reality series behind.

As reported by TMZ, Quinn will not be in Selling Sunset‘s sixth and seven seasons. The forthcoming seasons recently started back-to-back production. According to TMZ sources, it’s a mutual decision between Quinn, Netflix and the series’ production company.

While Quinn has been an integral part of the series over the years, recent public comments have indicated that her exit was on the way. At the end of season five, Quinn didn’t attend the season’s reunion, claiming that it was due to having COVID-19.

Yet just a few days later, she was spotted on a commercial photo shoot, when technically she should have been in quarantine. In a subsequent interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, she quashed rumours that she pretended to have the virus in order to get out of attending the reunion.

During that Cohen chat, she revealed that she was thinking of leaving Selling Sunset to focus on her new business, RealOpen, a cryptocurrency-based real estate company.  Aside from crypto, Quinn also reportedly recently signed with IMG Models, and is planning modelling and appearance gigs post-Selling Sunset.

Quinn’s time on Selling Sunset wasn’t without its issues. On the podcast Call Her Daddy, she criticised series creator Adam Divello, claiming he told her to “fall down the stairs” and “kill” herself after she went public with her dissatisfaction with a scene from an episode. She also alleged on the podcast that producers intimated and manipulated the cast in order to create as much drama as possible.
