The Boulevard, Ivanhoe

Each year, Ivanhoe’s The Boulevard hosts thousands upon thousands of visitors from all over, renowned for consistently jaw-dropping displays. Often times, food trucks and coffee are on offer throughout, and there’s an added bonus of after-dark views of Melbourne’s CBD.

Reichelt Avenue, Montmorency

A trip further out into suburbia will bring you to some of Melbourne’s best. Included in that category is Montmorency’s Reichelt Avenue. Bringing you closer to a white Christmas than you could image, the displays on Reichelt Avenue featuring snow machines, festive trains and reindeer. Oh, and did we mention the occasional appearance from Santa?

Shaftsbury Street, Coburg

A trip to the City of Moreland’s Coburg will provide a visionary delight. At No. 29, Shaftsbury Street, don’t be surprised when you’re greeted by over 25,000 lights, animated bears, a Santa house & train, and a reindeer-led sleigh. A true feast for the eyes. Don’t miss it.

Cooper Street, Sunshine

Venture out west to discover Sunshine’s Cooper Street display. For over 20, (YES, 20!) years, the Walsh family have lit up their Sunshine abode with more than 45,000 lights. 2019’s lucky punters can immerse themselves in the Walsh family’s incredible display, complete with a nativity scene, inflatables, a walk-in display, decorated windows and Christmas music for an all-in-all sensory delight. Huge!
