The Sydney Symphony Orchestra is teaming up with the circus for a Cirque de la Symphonie.
Following its highly acclaimed debut with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in 2013, Cirque de la Symphonie will be reuniting with the Sydney Symphony Orchestranext month to perform three shows filled with dazzling magic, captivating beauty and death-defying cirque artistry.
High-flying acrobats, jugglers, contortionists, dancers and strongmen will take to the Concert Hall stage to perform routines perfectly choreographed to classical masterpieces performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Australian conductor Guy Noble. Noble, who also conducted the Cirque de la Symphonie concerts in 2013, says the concerts will be “like circus ballet”.
