Love Island Australia contestants Claudia Bonifazio and Austen Bugeja have revealed their plans to move in together in the near future. The couple, who fell in love on the dating show, admitted that the long distance between them had been difficult after spending eight weeks together on the show.

Bonifazio, a 23-year-old, has been living with her family in Adelaide, while Bugeja, a 22-year-old, has been based in Sydney since flying back from Mallorca, Spain.

To make the distance more manageable, the couple has been flying back and forth to see each other every two weeks. However, they have now decided that Bugeja will temporarily move in with Bonifazio and her family in Adelaide.

“It was really hard. He was great though, he reassured me every day. But it’s hard because you just miss them,” Claudia admitted.

They are planning on finding a small apartment together in the South Australian capital before eventually returning to Sydney together.

Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, the couple has said that it has only strengthened their love and connection. “It’s added more depth to our connection and the love that we have,” Bugeja said.
