Oz Comic-Con has just excited pop-culture fans ready to relish in all its glory, with the announcement of its eighth event. The jam-packed multi-state weekender is known for bringing only the best heroes in pop-culture to our city centres. This year – we’re being blessed with the best yet again.
In Melbourne, Australian comic-book artist Dean Rankine (The Simpsons, Rick and Morty, Futurama) will join Shadowhunters actors Dominic Sherwood and Alberto Rosende. Renowned artists Nicola Scott (Superman, Teen Titans, Secret Six), and Carla Wyzgala (Hidden Door Comics) will also appear.

This killer lineup is only set to get much bigger, with new announcements happening each week leading up to the event. Yeah, that’s right – every week.
Another event highlight for the 2019 Oz Comic-Con is the Australian Championships Of Cosplay, dubbed “the most prestigious costume contest in Australia”. It is the first stop in the ‘Quest For The Crown’, a global competition that will see the overall Australian winner representing Australia at the 2020 C2E2 Championships of Cosplay in Chicago.
