Cryptopsy have announced a run of capital city headline shows, kicking off this September.
The Canadian four piece, who last toured Australia in 2006, will play shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
With a career reaching back to 1992, Cryptopsy have ushered in a new age of extreme metal.
As well as promising an evening of pure brutality, the band also bring with them a slew of classic tracks as well as three records released after the band last graced our stages.
Cryptopsy will play Newtown Social Club on Friday September 2. Tickets are on sale through the venue.
