Custard are getting ready to release their first album in 16 years, and to celebrate they will be playing a trio of shows around the country this December.

The album fittingly titledCome Back, All Is Forgiven, was recorded over a weekend in drummer Glen Thompson’s studio and features 11 new songs, and is their first new material since 1999’sLoverama.

The four members have all remained active in the music scene, playing in groups including The Go-Betweens, The Titanics, The Polaroids, The Lost Gospel, The Purple Hearts and Beachfield.

Custard will play at the Factory Theatre on Friday December 4. Tickets are on sale through the venue.
