Here’s when ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ will be unlocking in Australia

Cyberpunk 2077 is nearly here and now we have the official unlock time for when you can start playing the game in Australia.

We’re less than a week out before Cyberpunk 2077 is finally released out into the world (properly) and I’ll be the first to admit that I’m just hanging onto every bit of new info about the game until Thursday, December 10th, comes around.

And today the developers of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED, have released an important bit of info every eager fan will want to pay attention to: the time when the game will be unlocked for each platform around the world.

Now since we’re Australian, we’ll be focusing on the Cyberpunk 2077 unlock time for Australia only. For those non-Australians, just take a peek at CD Projekt RED’s tweet below for when the game launches in your country.

For PC and Stadia users, the game will unlock and be available to play on Thursday, December 10th, at 11am AEDT. Since the game is 70gb, the game can be pre-loaded on Monday, December 7th, at 10pm AEDT.

For console users, the game will unlock at midnight local time regardless of wherever you are in the world. Pre-loading the game should be available already for Xbox owners. PS4 and PS5 owners will have to wait until Tuesday, December 8th, to pre-load Cyberpunk 2077 onto their console.

Now keep in mind that all these times are for digital copies of the game and it is almost certain that physical copies will be launched earlier than expected (which it has already).

But hey, we’re now in the homestretch of this long and arduous journey of waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 and the light at the end of the tunnel is finally in sight.
