Grammy award winning neo-soul legend D’Angelo has locked in a one-off Sydney show in the lead up to his highly anticipated set at next year’s Bluesfest.

Marking his first Australian performance since the release of his long awaited comeback album Black Messiah, the Brown Sugar artist has been garnering rave reviews since returning from his ten year hiatus.

His critically acclaimed latest album took D’Angelo years to complete and features contributions from an all-star cast of players including Questlove, Pino Palladino, Isaiah Sharkey, Chris Dave and Roy Hargrove.

D’Angelo will play at the Sydney Opera House on Monday March 21.
