Danni Minogue has starred as a judge on The Masked Singer Australia ever since the show’s inception in 2019. However, the popular singer has confirmed that she won’t be returning to the show for the fourth season because of another engagement.
“My fashion commitments in the UK conflict with scheduling of The Masked Singer filming this year, so unfortunately I won’t be returning,” Minogue told The Herald Sun over the weekend.
“I am sure with borders opening there will be loads of great surprises for everyone. I’ve loved every minute working on TMS and will miss my Inspector Minogue role.”
Now, the singer has revealed that the conflict is another reality show that she’s signed on for. Minogue has accepted her “dream job” hosting an all-new European dating show called I Kissed a Boy.
The new series is a gay dating show that will see ten single men paired up with a match before they even meet. The BBC show states, “As soon as they meet, they kiss. No small-talk, no ‘flanter’, just one rom-com worthy moment that might just take their breath away.”
Speaking of her new role, Minogue has said that she is over the moon to be playing “cupid”.
“There are millions of people in the UK looking for love,” she said.

“And I believe love is for everyone. So I am so thrilled for a gay dating show to be entering the sea of other dating shows that have existed on TV for years.’
“I have been a staunch ally of the LGBTQ+ community for as long as I can remember. My close friends know that my dream job title would be Cupid.
“So this gives me that flutter-of-love feeling inside too, just to be a part of it. Let’s hope there is love, sealed with a kiss!'”
