The Dapto Chaser willlook at gambling addiction through the eyes of a big-hearted Aussie family, whenGriffin Theatrebring Mary Rachel Brown’s play to Sydney this July.
Glynn Nicholas directs the story of the Sinclairs, a family religiously involved in dog racing for five generations. With the all-important Winnebago Classic on the horizon, their beloved dog Boy Named Sue is the family’s last chance for reversing their fortunes for good.
Featuring an experienced cast, including Danny Adcock, Richard Sydney, Jamie Oxenbould and Noel Hodda, the piece promises gritty humour and masses of family dysfunction.
The Dapto Chaser seasonplays at the SBW Stables Theatre from Saturday July 4 to Saturday July 25.
