DC has just released a 60-second reel featuring some of their upcoming projects, within it we got a new look at ‘Black Adam’ characters such as Doctor Fate and Hawkman.

In DC’s new sizzle reel titled ‘The World Needs Heroes,’ a plethora of new looks at some of our favorite heroes, anti-heroes, and villains was shown. Among them was some brand new footage of Black Adam showing off the mysterious and powerful Doctor Fate as well as Atom Smasher, who may harken thoughts of Marvel’s Ant-Man character.

Also found within this new sneak peek was footage of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as Black Adam. We got to see more footage from the upcoming The Flash movie in which Ezra Miller’s Flash explains they have essentially unlimited access to all timelines in any universe they wish to visit. Jason Momoa is seen sporting a fresh new look in a dark blue suit with the slightest tinge of green undertones.

In the latter half of the video, we get brand new looks at Black Adam characters such as Hawkman, Atom Smasher, and Doctor Fate. Hawkman spreads his wings out and strikes a powerful pose amidst what appears to be a city covered in rubble and ruins. The color palette of the shot is almost nauseatingly golden and directly after we see a quick shot of Black Adam, appearing to stand in opposition in what looks to be the same location as Hawkman with the same washed-out golden color palette.

Directly after we get our first looks at Doctor Fate and Atom Smasher in action. Atom Smasher appears to be enlarged and wreaking havoc as they run through a city street, kicking cars into the air.

Doctor Fate, played by Pierce Brosnan, looks to be retaining a comic-accurate appearance in this adaptation and strikes a powerful and menacing pose in the few shots we see him in.
