The 100-piece Distant World Philharmonic and Chorus will be breathing new life into the music from cult video game series, Final Fantasy.

Following the success of a sold-out show at Sydney’s ICC Theatre in 2017, Distant Worlds are set to make their triumphant return to Australian shores for a one-off show at the Melbourne Arena. The performance will honour the original Final Fantasy VII.

Grammy-winning conductor Arnie Roth will lead the Distant World crew through an ethereal performance of the adored music of Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, and more. The performance will take place in front of a breathtaking HD video from game developer SQUARE ENIX.

Joining Roth will be very special guest Yoko Shimomura, composer of the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack.

The multimedia performance is destined to satiate every sensory desire, bringing a luscious soundscape to the games revered graphics — an essential experience for fans of the game. The performance is set to be Distant World’s largest to date. Ticket information below.
