Rapper and hip hopextraordinaire The D.O.C. has announced his first-ever speaking touras part of the JMC Academy Master Series Workshops.
The D.O.C. is best known for being an honourary member of hip hop royalty, N.W.A., and hopes to motivate upcoming musicians and show them what it takes to make it in the industry.
In thelate 1980s he was in a car accident that damaged his vocal cords almost beyond repair, but now he’s back to talk about his life and experiences. As part of his speaking tour, The D.O.C. will tell never-before-heard stories about N.W.A and the rise of hip hop in the 1980s. There will also be a Q&A session for aspiring songwriters, producers and hip hop fans.
