Earlier today it was announced that Donald Trump would not be visiting Australia later this year. Nine News has reported that Mike Pence will be returning in the President‘s place.

It was originally reported that Trump would be visiting our shores in November after his visit to Papa New Guinea. However Mike Pence will visit our shores again to “highlight the United States’ vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific, based on respect for sovereignty, the rule of law, and the principles of free, fair, and reciprocal trade.” Yeah, good.
