The people are doing all they can to tarnish the Donald Trump star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, and we support them. Back in July it was destroyed by a pickaxe, and then in August West Hollywood voted to have it officially removed. Now, an anonymous Los Angeles artist who works under the moniker Plastic Jesus has put prison-like plastic bars over the star.

In an email originally sent to Artnet News about the stunt, Plastic Jesus has explained that “There have been calls to jail Trump since the day he was elected, and today he was certainly put behind bars – or at least his now infamous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was caged.” He continued to relay the events that followed his installation “Although it was very quickly damaged by a Trump supporter trying to remove it, the bars did appear to be stuck fast and were there several hours later – to the amusement of thousands of passing tourists.”

Plastic Jesus has built up quite the reputation over the past few years. In 2013 he spread the slogan “Stop Making Stupid People Famous” across Los Angeles. He usually skewers his vitriol towards celebrity excess, targetting the likes of The Kardashians, Kanye West and The Oscars.
