Gallery 9 are holding two exhibitions this August, showing the works of Simon Blau and Belem Lett.
Although differing in subject matter, each artist applies a soft palette and fluid abstraction to their works. Simon Blau’s Hobbyismfocuses on a weaving a network of abstract elements to form his compositions, whilst Lett’s Island Feverprovides a series of imagined representations of Australia as an island, inspired by the rich wealth of Australian cartography.
HobbyismandIsland Feverwill be showing at Gallery 9 Wednesday July 30 – Sunday August 24.
