MAFS groom Duncan has reportedly moved on from Alyssa with Carolina Santos, who was a participant on season nine of the popular reality show.

Yahoo Lifestyle Australia published photos of the two reality stars together in January, and spoke to an onlooker who dished the details about their “date”.

The source told the publication: “I had no idea who Duncan was then because the new season had not started. It looked like they were on a date but they had other friends with them.”

The photos, which you can view here, show Duncan and Carolina cuddling up on a sofa with their arms wrapped around one another.

Duncan has been partnered with Alyssa on the current season of MAFS, and while they appeared to get off to a good start, their relationship has been showing cracks in recent episodes. They began butting heads at the couple’s retreat when Alyssa demanded that the cyber security salesman give her more attention and reassurance.

Then, in last night’s episode, Alyssa was shown questioning the relationship and walked out of their shared apartment saying she ‘needs time’.

However, Alyssa explained in an Instagram post that she didn’t storm out, but instead left to pick her child up from school.

“I really struggled having to leave our conversation to go pick up my son. But he will always come first,” she captioned a photo of herself.

A source recently told Yahoo Lifestyle Australia that Duncan was always aware that her kid will always take precedence over him, and he didn’t have a problem with it.

“Duncan knew Alyssa had a son from the very start of the experiment and always reassured her that he understands her child will always come first,” an insider told the publication.

They added: “Alyssa would head back home to the Northern Beaches most weekends to see her son and Duncan was fully understanding, patient and happy to be as involved as she wanted him to be.

“But over time she shut him out and would shut down chats about how their relationship might grow away from the experiment, and him one day meeting the child. Duncan tried but after a while there was only so much he could say or do.”
