Kylie Jenner has been usurped from having the world record for the most liked Instagram post, by a single egg. Up until earlier today, the most liked photo on Instagram was the announcement of Kylie Jenner’s daughter’s name, Stormi Webster, which currently has 18.2 million likes.
She was dethroned by one spectacular, bulbous, hopefully free-range egg. Posted on the Instagram account @world_record_egg. Before the account achieved its goal, the bio read: “Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this”
Kylie Jenner has since responded to her crippling defeat by posting a video of her smashing an egg on the sidewalk. Nobody likes a sore loser, Kylie.
Buzzfeed has revealed that the anonymous egg account is run by a chicken from the British countryside that goes by the name of Henrietta. We’re thrilled for Henrietta and her offsprings newfound fame. We hope that this doesn’t impact the self-worth of Kylie Jenner and her baby Stormi too severely.
