Dying to see more about George R. R. Martin and From Software’s Elden Ring? Well then get excited, because a new trailer has just leaked.

Despite barely gaining any new details in almost two years, Elden Ring is still atop of many gamers’ most wanted lists. That will likely continue to be the case now that a brand new trailer has leaked onto the interwebs. Well… kind of.

The trailer, which you can watch below, shows off all sorts of new details about Elden Ring’s world. You can expect angry skeletons, fire-breathing dragons and horse combat aplenty.

You should also be prepared for it to look like it’s been recorded by somebody using a Nokia 3210. Consider yourself warned.

Sources have reportedly confirmed to Game Informer that the trailer is indeed legitimate, which makes us wonder now when we will see the full thing. Rumours have started circulating that it will be shown off during an Xbox event on March 23, but Microsoft has since dispelled said speculation. Elden Ring’s publisher, Bandai Namco, also has yet to make any comment.

Elden Ring was first shown off back at E3 in 2019. The game is a collaboration between both Game of Thrones’ George R. R. Martin and the team behind Dark Souls, with Hidetaka Miyazaki acting as director. That means the game will likely be both tough as nails to play and utterly confusing to comprehend.

In one of the best backhanded compliments in recent memory, when the game was first announced Miyazaki claimed he was penning the main story that players would be following because he believes that Martin’s ambitious storytelling was going to be too much for video games.
