Elon Musk responds on Twitter to an NBC clip that is critical of him and defends republicans as not being Nazis.
Elon Musk took to Twitter today to respond to an NBC clip that was critical of his takes on left and right-wing politics. The initial clip from NBC’s @mehdirhasan addresses the simplistic comparison that Elon has been making on Twitter between left and right-wing politics in America despite the vastly different goals of the two parties.
“NBC’s @mehdirhasan on @elonmusk: “If [the” neo-Nazi faction “of the GOP expands in Nov.], We may look back on this .. as a pivotal moment, when a petulant & not-so-bright billionaire casually bought one of the most influential messaging machines & just handed it to the far-right””

@MollyJonFast came onto the broadcast in the next clip to address Elon further and said that it makes sense that Elon would feel disenfranchised by America’s leftist base as he is a rich old white man. As a capital owner with a net worth of over $200 billion, it’s not a surprise that Elon would want to portray leftists in a negative light.
“The Atlantic’s @MollyJongFast on Elon being upset about online censorship: “Old, rich white men have since the beginning of time, complained about young people, like this is not new.””

Elon then responded to the clip in defense of republicans before criticizing NBC as a whole.
“NBC basically saying Republicans are Nazis …”

“Same org that covered up Hunter Biden laptop story, had Harvey Weinstein story early & killed it & built Matt Lauer his rape office. Lovely people.”

“The implication here that the “Hunter Biden and/or his laptop” story is significant? The *only* people here who care about the laptop is Trump’s base; which now appears to also include Elon here… They all exaggerate it by a factor of 1,000”
