Erin Molan has finally revealed the identity of the well-known actor who DM’d after teasing the encounter back in October last year.

Erin and her ex-husband Sean Ogilvy announced their separation in September 2021. Shortly, Erin said on 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin show that a Hollywood actor had DM’d her, and the two sparked up a connection and ended up speaking on the phone. However, at the time Erin wouldn’t reveal who the mystery man was.

However, Erin has now finally broken her silence, revealing that the man in question was Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell. The revelation came about when  Molan’s co-host Dave Hughes bought up the topic on air this morning. Dave – who already knew who Erin was referring to with the mystery texts – said that she was meant to meet up with him months ago.

“Does she wait, or does she end up ghosting him? And does he end up in a very high profile relationship which made international headlines this week? Yes, is the answer.”

Hughes was referring to Domenic’s new relationship with Miley Cyrus’ mother, Tish. Tish debuted their relationship by posting a candid photo of herself and Dominic that showed them cuddling by a pool while looking out at the ocean. She simply captioned the post “Thanks for the cute photo” along with a red love heart and tagged Dominic.

“He was such a lovely guy, he was so beautiful … it wasn’t the right timing for me, it was too soon after my last relationship. But he was so beautiful and sweet, and he’s such a catch for Tish Cyrus,” Erin said.

“I’m so happy for them, because he’s genuinely one of the loveliest guys.”

Erin said that while she was in contact with Domenic, she spoke to his ex-partner actress AnnaLynne McCord on the phone too.

“She spoke so incredibly highly of him as well – I thought, anyone whose ex speaks that highly of them … he’s an incredible human being,” she said.
