For those who are getting excited for the X-Men’s eventual introduction, here is every mutant that is already in the MCU so far.

The introduction of mutants into the MCU could be happening very soon, with several appearances already creeping up around the edges. For those who can’t wait to see when that happens, here is every mutant that is either confirmed, rumoured, or speculated to be in the MCU.

Ms. Marvel

At the end of Ms. Marvel it was explained by Bruno that Kamala’s powers stem from a sort of genetic mutation, officially making her a mutant.

Namor

Namor will be appearing in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as the ruler of Atlantis. As he is described in the comics, Namor will also be a mutant in the MCU.

Ursa Major

Ursa Major is a bit of a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it character but he did appear for a brief moment in Black Widow before he got his wrist snapped like a twig while arm wrestling Red Guardian.

Mr. Immortal

Mr. Immortal, who recently appeared in She-Hulk Episode 6, has not been confirmed as a mutant yet but was classified as such in the comics.

American Chavez

American Chavez is another one that isn’t confirmed. Many people speculate that the source of her powers is the mutant gene. Whether that is true or not remains unconfirmed.

Other Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness mutants

A few beloved mutants, such as Professor X showed up in the second Doctor Strange film. Although, these mutants served more as one-offs and were form separate dimensions entirely.

Wolverine

While nothing about Wolverine has been overtly shown, a minor moment in She-Hulk Episode 2 gave a hint that Wolverine already exists in the MCU.

While Jennifer Walters is perusing the internet, a small “related article” can be seen on the right side of her laptop that says, “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl.”

Who else could that be but Wolverine or Sabretooth?

Wanda and Quicksilver

While their powers were originally explained as being due to experimentation with an Infinity Stone, the MCU has since regained the rights to mutants. In WandaVision it was explained that Wanda always had her powers but the Infinity Stone merely triggered or activated them in a sort of retcon moment on the original reasoning.

Peter Evans (X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse) version of Quicksilver was also introduced in WandaVision, who was a mutant in the Fox universe.

This one is a bit of a grey area, as it’s never explicitly said whether Wanda is or isn’t a mutant, although, Magneto is her father in the Marvel comics. This is all changing though, as Scarlet Witch was reclassified as a “witch” in the comics circa 2016. How they will determine her status in the MCU still remains to be seen.
