As we approach the end of Spring, much outstanding anime has already been released. But what does Spring 2022 have left for us to watch?
Kicking off with Bubble, which is being hailed as the best standalone anime movie of 2022, the end of Spring 2022 anime looks to go out with a bang. The remaining anime range from the mech-suit touting Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans and Pacific Rim The Black to a variety of Issekai to the dystopian cyberpunk thriller Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.
Bubble – April 28th
Although Bubble has technically already been released in Japan, the movie will be released once more on April 28th on Netflix. This is one of the most anticipated anime of 2022 as it comes from animation studio Wit (Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, Great Pretender, Ranking of Kings, Spy x Family) and members of the team behind Death Note.
Gravity-defying bubbles rain down, cutting off Tokyo from the rest of the world. The city skyline becomes a playground for young people competing in parkour team battles. Hibiki plummets into the sea but is saved by a girl with mysterious powers.
Pacific Rim The Black Season 2 – April 19, 2022 (Today’s date as of publication)
After Kaiju ravage Australia, two siblings pilot a Jaeger to search for their parents, encountering new creatures, characters and allies.
A Couple of Cuckoos – April 23, 2022
A Couple of Cuckoos (カッコウの許嫁, Kakkou no Iinazuke) is an anime series which is based on the romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Miki Yoshikawa.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Special Edition – Spring 2022
Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS: Special Edition (機動戦士ガンダム 鉄血のオルフェンズ 特別編?) is an upcoming anime television mini-series. Nine episodes are scheduled to air in Spring 2022

Strike the Blood Final – March-June 2022 (4 episodes releasing)
