Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, the most expensive show ever made, is debuting its first trailer during the Super Bowl

After Amazon’s recent preview of The Rings of Power last Thursday, February 3rd, a full-length trailer will finally be coming to fans and it will air during Super Bowl LVI Sunday, February 13th.

Jordan Peele’s ambiguously titled film Nope is also confirmed to be dropping a trailer during the Super Bowl and will hopefully be accompanied by other Universal films. It’s likely that Jurassic World: Dominion (releasing June 10th) will be making an appearance as the franchise has a history of appearing at the big game. Illuminations Minions: The Rise of Gru (releasing July 1st), which made an appearance during the 2020 Super Bowl is possible to come back for this year’s SB LVI with the movie’s upcoming release.

Bel-Air

The upcoming Bel-Air reboot from executive producer Will Smith will be airing a new trailer during the Super Bowl as well. The series will release directly after the game on Uni streaming service Peacock.

Paramount

Paramount is also looking to get in on the action with two movies expected to be shown during the duration of the game. The Lost City (March 25th), starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, and Brad Pitt, is anticipated to reveal a new trailer. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is also expected to show up during the Super Bowl after debuting its first trailer back in December.

Disney

Disney is also looking to get in on the action with possible Marvel spots for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 6th) and a return from Disney+ with the Oscar Isaac-led series Moon Knight (March 30th). These spots look to make a big impact for their respective project’s viewership after last year’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier spot drew in an additional 30 million+ views on social media following the game.

Netflix

The Netflix series The Adam Project (March 11th), starring Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Gardner, Mark Ruffalo, and Zoe Saldana, has been reported to show us a trailer during this year’s Super Bowl as well. No other properties are expected to come from Netflix.

Warner Bros, Sony, and Apple, which traditionally sit on the sidelines during the Super Bowl, will continue to do so this year. Hulu and HBO Max will also not be dropping any trailers.
