Although many countries differ in opinion when it comes to wearing face masks to stop the current global pandemic, many people are sporting them anyways, and some people’s mask game is absolutely on point.

Whether you’ve actually done your research, or you’ve just heard through the grape vine that it’s a good idea to wear a mask to prevent yourself and others from becoming sick, I’m guessing you’ve noticed that it’s kind of hard to be on the top of your fashion game when wearing such a bulky, and typically ugly covering over your mouth and nose.

Well, some people have taken their creative skill, and proven that wearing a face mask doesn’t have to be a fashion downfall – it can actually be a statement piece. So, since there are so many great masks out there, we’ve decided to count down our top 5 in terms of fashion statements.

#5: The expandable mask.

Considering we all could use a laugh right now, this expandable mask definitely does the trick.

#4: The Tiger King masks:

No, you don’t have to worry about not missing enough teeth to cosplay yourself as a character of Tiger King – just pop on a mask and a trucker hat, and you’re good to go!

#3: The cut-away, homemade mask:

Now, you may have seen some tutorials on how to make your own masks, but we recommend not wearing the pants or top you cut the mask from out in public.

#2: The ‘you think I look different under here?’ mask:

While you could use this era of face masks to dress up as someone else, why not just be yourself?

Gotta Wear that facemask “Bank Teller asked me to take it off. She Just laughed. “ from r/funny

#1: The ‘if you can see these penises, you’re too close’ mask:

Are people still getting in your way, even though there are 1.5 metre social distancing guidelines about? Just wear this mask, and if they ask about the print, tell them to back the fuck off.

Even though some of these masks are downright hilarious, and super on point, please see your local CDC guidelines for if you need to be wearing a mask, currently.
